The long-awaited one-vault

In 2023, the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line should receive three stations. A Metrostroevets correspondent talks about the current progress of work at the Fiztekh terminal station.

A new six-kilometer section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line will improve transport accessibility in several areas at once. Dmitrovsky, Vostochnoe Degunino, Beskudnikovsky and Lianozovo and the village of Severny will have access to the city subway. After the commissioning of three stations - Yakhromskaya, Lianozovo and Fiztekh - local residents will save an average of 15-20 minutes on trips around the city.

Another advantage will be the unloading of major highways, primarily on Dmitrovskoye Highway. The existing metro lines will also become more free, in particular, passengers will be more comfortable on the northern sections of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya and Zamoskvoretskaya metro lines.

The final part of the section will be the Phystech station, where soil development work has already been completed. They were carried out in several stages: first, they prepared a dismantling chamber for the simultaneous exit of two tunnel boring complexes, then they selected soil in the area of the platform and vestibules, and then moved on to the reversible dead ends behind the station.

The Phystech pit is considered one of the longest at current construction sites - almost 700 meters. Since it contains not only a station with vestibules, but also reversible dead ends. Together with them, a traction-step-down substation and a ventilation unit are built in a single pit, which are located above the ramp chamber.

The tray part of the reversible dead ends is almost ready, and the monolithic work on the floors is 80 percent completed. On the surface, backfilling of the pit continues in the area of reversible dead ends. At the same time, a rigid base is being laid. As the working documentation is issued, the metro builders will begin the construction of internal walls, finishing and installation of engineering systems, both in the dead ends themselves and in the traction and step-down substation with a ventilation chamber.

In addition, at the Phystech under construction, the installation of a platform vault made of monolithic reinforced concrete using movable metal formwork is underway. TO-6 crews crossed the work equator. They started at the end of September, and in winter they are carried out in compliance with the temperature conditions necessary for the concrete to set. Its strong and reliable design consists of 18 stops, 12 of which are already ready. The construction of the vault should be completed by the end of March.

On average, 270 cubic meters fit into one stop. The production cycle is carried out once every ten days, and this is connected with the technological process: moving the formwork, reinforcing and laying the concrete mixture of the new filling. At the same time, concreting of the first 25 meters of the passenger platform began at the end of January.

Another feature of Phystech will be two lobbies. Initially, the project included one - the southern one, which would take passengers to Academician Landau Boulevard.

Now the station has added one more exit - the northern one. Thus, the wishes of local residents for a more convenient location of the lobby were taken into account.
