The overhaul of this ground station of the Filyovskaya line is being completed. At the end of last year, on December 30, its platform was opened to passengers after 14 months of restoration work.
As the head of section No. 1 of SMU-9, Vladimir Orobey, said, during the entire period of repair, Bagrationovskaya was not fully operational for only 14 days. In the technological “window” mode, the station was closed for the weekend. Then, at different stages, trains stopped stopping alternately on both sides of the platform. There was a period when only half of the train worked for boarding and disembarking. Now nothing prevents the free movement of passengers.
The major renovation of Bagrationovskaya began in October 2017. The main work was carried out by SMU-9, USR was engaged in finishing, SMU-4 - installation of engineering systems. The platform was completely rebuilt and lined with granite slabs. The columns were re-finished with marble.
The capital renovation project also includes updating the lobbies. They were demolished and new ones were built. In the summer of 2018, the western one was opened. They made new railings and fences made of polished stainless steel. The covering on the floor and walls, the façade parts and plinth, and stained glass windows were replaced. Infrared heaters were installed in the ceiling and new lighting was installed. The east lobby is awaiting completion of finishing and engineering work.
