On March 2, young specialists from the construction industry visited site No. 25.3, located between the Aviamotornaya and Nizhegorodskaya stations under construction on the Big Circle Line. A tour of the facility was conducted by the head of section No. 3 of Tunnel-2001 LLC, Evgeniy Bibikov.
On a sunny Saturday morning, the excursion group at the convention chamber can be seen from afar. Two dozen people in helmets and bright signal vests surround the site commander, who is conducting instructions. After familiarizing themselves with safety precautions, tourists fill the elevator and descend into the pit.
– Very large-scale and unexpectedly clean. Here, of course, there is its own specific beauty,” Anastasia Sycheva, manager of TSK, shares her impressions. This is her first time at such a construction site.
Evgeniy Bibikov gathers a group and talks about the features of tunneling with a shield with a hydraulic load. Explains how rock mixed with bentonite is removed from the face through pipes. Why are compressor machines needed? Describes the design of high-pressure chambers using the caisson method. Then finally everyone goes into the tunnel.
The left section will connect the ramp chamber at site No. 25.3 with the future Aviamotornaya station. 350 meters of the tunnel have already been completed. The group examines its reinforced concrete lining on the way to the shield.
Here Bibikov talks about the tunnel boring complex. “Valeria” weighs 480 tons, its length is 64 meters. This is the only TBM in Russia with a hydraulic load with a diameter of 6 meters. In its special chamber, waste rock is mixed with bentonite.
When going back, the guide allows one of the participants to take a trophy as a souvenir.
– I got a souvenir! This is a “stud” - a nut and bolt that secures concrete blocks,” Galina Maslova, an engineer in the TO-6 planning department, shares her joy.
On the surface, the group is shown a separator plant that looks like a small factory. Here, special mechanisms separate the waste soil from the drilling fluid. Then the bentonite, with compensation for losses, is used again, using pumps to send it back to the shield through the pipeline.
At parting, the excursionists thank the head of the site. They would like to visit such an underground walk more than once.
