The stations became younger. The “Fili” and “Pionerskaya” lobbies opened after reconstruction

The major renovation of the eastern vestibule of the “Fili” station and the western vestibule of the “Pionerskaya” station has been completed. The first passengers appreciated the work of the metro builders.

For 60 years, the stations of the Filevskaya line have never been repaired. The structures of the entire site were seriously deteriorated due to weather conditions, continuous use and vibrations from the neighboring highway. Therefore, at the end of last year, phased work on its reconstruction began. The entrance pavilions of the Fili and Pionerskaya stations were closed to passengers in the first half of 2017.

– During the reconstruction of the lobbies, we not only completely dismantled the old service and technological premises, but also strengthened the load-bearing structures of the buildings, said Sergei Zhukov, General Director of Mosmetrostroy. – In addition, engineering systems and communication networks have been completely replaced.

After the reconstruction, the Fili station will become 84 square meters larger due to the installation of elevators in the eastern lobby and the addition of entrance lobbies in the western one. “Pionerskaya,” which is two years younger than its neighbor, will also “grow up.” Its area will be 246 square meters larger.

– Metro builders laid 640 square meters of floors with natural stone and lined 743 “squares” of walls with porcelain stoneware, added Zhukov.

In addition, the floor in all lobbies and station platforms was paved with granite slabs, and the metal railings were replaced with polished stainless steel steel.

– Work is underway to install the main structures on the platform towards the center and the western vestibule of Bagrationovskaya, as well as the platform from the center and the eastern vestibule of Filevsky Park, explained the head of the Mosmetrostroy JSC complex, Alexey Arbuzov. – Dismantling continues on the vestibules and the Kuntsevskaya platform. The work is planned to be completed in mid-2018.
