Took up finishing work "lefortovo"

At the station of the Big Circle Line under construction, finishing work has begun. At the same time, the metro construction workers moved from constructing the enclosing structures of the future Lefortovo lobby to developing the soil.

USR specialists arrived at Lefortovo on January 24. By the end of the first week of February, the improvement of the community camp had already been completed. Finishing will begin from the platform level of the station. Preparations are now underway:

– We deliver materials, install scaffolding. They move along special pipes along the station and allow you to work both on track walls and on the ceiling,” explains Ivan Sopov, head of section No. 1 of the USR.

A number of tests were also carried out to determine the load-bearing capacities of ceilings, columns and track walls. This is necessary for attaching brackets under the aluminum frame, on which panels and granite will subsequently be installed.

In addition, at the end of January, the construction of the enclosing structures of the pit for the vestibule of the future station was completed. They were made using the “wall in soil” technology. The method involves digging a trench, which is then reinforced and concreted.

– This process was frozen in the summer. The problem arose when limestone was discovered at depth. The ladle simply did not take this layer - it bounced off it. Therefore, in several particularly problematic areas, they decided to shorten the frame and raise the development level,” said Sergei Borisenko, deputy chief engineer of Tunnel-2001 LLC.

There will be one lobby at Lefortovo. It was designed in the form of a peripter - a rectangular building surrounded on four sides by a colonnade. The architectural design was chosen taking into account the development of the historical area and its color scheme. The facade will be finished with light beige panels, the floor of the pavilion will be laid out with gray granite.
