Dear metro builders, I congratulate you on Defender of the Fatherland Day!
February 23 is the holiday of all those who defend our Motherland. A holiday of real men and persistent women, whose steely character, professionalism and strength give us the opportunity to live in peace and tranquility, raise children and do what we love - building the metro. On this day, veterans of the Great Patriotic War deserve special gratitude. Difficult trials in harsh times revealed the best qualities of builders - courage, cohesion, and the ability to mobilize to carry out the most difficult work. Large detachments of metro construction workers were sent to erect defensive structures throughout the country. Work was carried out in the Moscow region, on the Volga and in the Far East. In the first days of the war, thousands of builders went to the front, to join the people's militia.
I am convinced that the current generation of metro builders worthily continues the best traditions of their predecessors. They fulfill their civic duty to the Fatherland in peace and contribute to the transport development of the country. I wish everyone good health, optimism, good spirits and success in serving the common cause - for the good of our country!
