I won't go against the principles
In honor of Personnel Officer's Day (October 12), Deputy General Director for Personnel Management and Corporate Relations Oksana Menshina spoke about herself.
- My motto is always ahead!
- I love flowers, I sincerely enjoy them every time.
- I used to read fiction, now its place has been taken by newspapers and professional books. On vacation I buy detective stories. Sometimes you need books like this to take a break from everything.
- I don’t like to be nostalgic. I have no ideals, I don’t pray to idols. I always move forward and try to maintain friendly relations with those colleagues with whom I work now or with whom I am interested.
- I am a morning person, I have woken up early since childhood. There is also a proverb: who gets up early, God gives him.
- My advice to beginners: at the beginning of your career, choose a direction that is interesting and invest in it with all your heart. Be caring, inquisitive, take an interest in every little thing.
- I always achieved what I set out to do and got results. There was a stage when I quit my job and returned to another city. I was not welcomed with open arms at my new job. I had to start all over again.
- I never overstepped my principles. I can give in a little on something, think deeply about what is required of me. But if the request contradicts my internal foundations, then I will refuse. Sometimes it’s easier to bypass me than to ask me to give up something. I demand the same integrity from my subordinates.
- I am a very sentimental person. If I watch touching things on TV or some war film, I can get emotional. And when I see the march of the “Immortal Regiment”, tears flow in a stream. There's a lump in my throat even right now as I say this. Fortunately, there are no other reasons to cry.
- My parents raised me like this: never ask for anything, the reward will find you itself.
