And we will open the northern exit soon

After the March launch of the Verkhnie Likhobory station, all work is concentrated on its second exit. Currently, a three-belt escalator is being installed there and the construction of the northern vestibule is being completed. This exit, connected to the underground passage under Dmitrovskoye Shosse, will simplify access to the metro for residents of the Beskudnikovsky district.

The SMU-4 escalator operators came here relatively recently - as soon as they managed all 13 machines to launch three stations of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line. But the construction site of Sergei Toroschin from SMU-12 has settled on the site since the fall of 2016. His teams, together with Stroymekhservice machine operators, prepared a pit for the lobby and the first concrete was laid in its tray in December of the same year. And then came the turn of walls, flights of stairs, floors.

“In total, we laid five and a half thousand cubic meters of structural concrete,” sums up the site manager. – Another six thousand cubic meters were spent on backfilling and filling the sinuses. Now all we have to do is concrete the junction of the vestibule with the slope. And we are in charge of finishing the office premises, of which there are 145. Some changes in the project are associated with them, with the transfer of individual partitions. But overall there were no problems. We receive materials on time.

In the work biography of Sergei Toroschin, “Verkhnie Likhobory” is the third station, where he manages one of the sections involved. It was preceded by Rumyantsevo and Butyrskaya. He began his metro construction journey as an electric welder in 2007 on the stretch from the Serebryanoborsky tunnels to Strogino. Then other objects came into life, in parallel with them studying at the evening department of the Mining University, an engineering diploma. And professional growth. Toroschin has been in command of the site for three and a half years. I am pleased that a stable core has formed in the team. Among those who proved themselves to be reliable foremen, he named Alexei Artemov, Valery Plykin, Sergei Kurmyshov.

Artemov that day could be seen literally at the forefront - at the edge of the recently poured monolithic ceiling. It turned out that he had been settling into the position of a mining foreman for two months now. He is tasked with connecting the two parts of the northern exit - the slope and the vestibule. Here, too, you can’t do without reinforced concrete. And it starts with a frame, the blanks for which are made right there. The pins driven in pairs into the flat ceiling formed a clear arc of the template. With their joint efforts, the reinforcement workers insert rod after rod between them, gradually bending them. They will become the transverse basis of the frame, which will give the abutment vault a semicircular shape.

By the time this issue of Metrostroevets is published, the backfilling of the northern vestibule will be completed. Escalator workers of Sergei Burtsev's section from SMU-4 will move from installing chains to hanging steps, and Sergei Toroschin's section will focus on finishing work.

REFERENCE

Mosmetrostroy won the competition for the construction of the extension of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line of the capital's metro. The section includes the stations “Ulitsa 800 Letiya Moskvy” and “Lianozovo” (“Dmitrovskoe Highway”) with running tunnels and a complex of near-tunnel structures. The length from Seligerskaya to the new terminal, Lianozovo, will be about four kilometers. Future metro stations will be built using an open-cut method, and the routes will be carried out using mechanized tunnel-boring complexes. The station “800th Anniversary of Moscow Street” will be located along Dmitrovskoye Highway between 800th Anniversary of Moscow Street and Yakhromsky Proezd. “Lianozovo” is to the right of Dmitrovskoye Shosse opposite Vagonoremontnaya Street.

BY THE WAY

Employees of the Moscow Metrostroy received well-deserved awards for conscientious work during the construction of three new stations of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line. 26 metro construction workers received a certificate of honor and gratitude from the Moscow Construction Department, and a medal “Honorary Worker of Mosmetrostroy” - 60 people. The certificate of honor of the Moscow Metrostroy society was awarded to 81 employees of the company. Certificates and gratitude were presented to the best employees by the General Director of Mosmetrostroy Sergei Zhukov and his deputy Oleg Melnikov.
