For the first time in the Moscow metro, an adjustable switch was installed at the Fiztekh metro station on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line. It is located in the station's turnaround dead ends and is necessary for the turnaround and parking of trains. Thanks to the improved switch, servicing the new section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line will become much more convenient.

The installation of the experimental switch was carried out by specialists from a subsidiary of Mosmetrostroy - SMU-12.

“The peculiarity of this switch is that previously it was impossible to adjust the gauge and ordinate on LVT sleepers after concreting, but now this can be done using adjustable under-rail pads,” said Andrey Kozlov, head of the SMU-12 section.

He emphasized that installing an adjustable pointer is practically no different from how it was done before.

According to Deputy General Director of SMU-12 Nasir Mamedov, concreting of the site has already begun.

“We plan to completely complete the laying of track concrete in the dead ends of the Fiztekh station at the end of July,” he specified.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, who visited the construction site, noted that there is little time left before the launch of the extension of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line. Work is actively underway at all three stations - Yakhromskaya, Lianozovo and Fiztekh.

The Lianozovo metro station, which the head of the city visited, is 76% ready. The construction of the main structures is almost completed. Architectural finishing works and installation of engineering systems are underway. For a convenient transfer between the metro and MCD-1, the existing railway platform will be reconstructed and moved 350 meters towards the Moscow region. The northern lobby of the Lianozovo station and the Moscow Central Diameter will be connected by an underground passage. As a result, the transfer will take only 2-3 minutes.

General Director of Mosmetrostroy JSC Sergei Zhukov added that the overall readiness of the Seligerskaya - Fiztekh section is good, the laying of the upper track structure is being completed. A giant panel dedicated to the 800th anniversary of Moscow was installed at the Yakhromskaya station. The aluminum panels feature recognizable city streets, bright images of pioneers, workers, and track and field athletes, referencing life in the capital in 1947. The 160-meter-long panel is installed on the track wall towards the center. The design of Yakhromskaya will combine the colors of Moscow - red and white.

The design of the Phystech station is associated with the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. White lamp columns resembling tubes are installed on the platform. The builders call them stalagmites, since the station is located in the village of Severny.
