Initially, it was planned to locate an emergency exit in the northern part of the “Phystech” station on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line, but the project was changed: in its place they decided to make a second lobby with a building for operating personnel. In March 2023, SMU-12 began monolithic work.
The seven-story lobby building, which includes several levels, was erected in three months. Deputy chief engineer of SMU-12 Sergei Toroschin said that more than 5 thousand cubic meters of concrete were used for the construction of the lobby. Construction was carried out around the clock - up to 500 people per day were involved in SMU-12 alone.
At the stage of architectural and finishing work, about 1,200 cubic meters of brick partitions were erected. Currently, the architectural part is 95% complete. Now SMU-12 carries out engineering on its own, including electrical and ventilation, the readiness is 80%.
March 22 In 2018, three stations of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line were opened at once - “Okruzhnaya”, “Verkhnie Likhobory” and “Seligerskaya”. The capital received a new metro radius from Maryina Roshcha to Seligerskaya. The interiors of "Okruzhnaya" refer to the Savyolovskaya railway, which runs nearby. “Verkhnie Likhobory” is decorated in the same style. “Seligerskaya” received its name in memory of the fierce battles of units of the Kalinin Front with Nazi troops on Lake Seliger during the Battle of Moscow.
