Head of the “Tunnel-2001” section Alexander Rybnikov conquered one of the most famous peaks of the Caucasus.
Alexander climbed the easternmost five-thousander of the Caucasus - the Kazbek stratovolcano. Together with his team, he climbed to a height of 5,033 meters. The five-day route over rocks, glaciers, and through mountain rivers, Rybnikov admits, turned out to be difficult. Each team member had a backpack weighing about 30 kg behind his shoulders.
–The climb to the top took 6 hours 47 minutes. Having reached the place, I realized that I had done what I wanted. There were a lot of emotions,” said Alexander.
This is not the first experience of the head of the “Tunnel-2001” section. This summer Rybnikov climbed Elbrus. At an altitude of 5642 meters, he planted the flag of the Moscow Metrostroy (more details in the newspaper “Metrostroyevets”, No. 6, 2024)
