Tatyana Rodyukova has been working at SMU-8 for 15 years. She is not only a competent economist, a leading engineer of the production and economic department, but also a person with great creative abilities. Her picturesque paintings of underground construction sites inspire, and her handmade stone jewelry lifts your spirits.
– Since childhood, I had the ability to draw, I went to art school, as well as to a theater studio and a music school. Much later, a great passion for felting appeared - wool felting. She created clothes, warm stoles with natural silk, and conducted master classes, says Tatyana.
Today she enjoys making jewelry from stones and painting. The stone world captured the girl after watching a video of a gemologist and lithotherapist. Rodyukova learned from her and now creates beads and bracelets according to her own design.
– I noticed some peculiarity when I went to suppliers to order beads. My internal battery was charging on its own. There is something about them... Subsequently, I learned hot stone massage, so three large jade and many other natural stones settled in my house,” the girl recalls.
As for drawing, Tatyana writes in watercolors, and her work suggests the subjects for her paintings, many of which are metro themed. During a visit to the Maryina Roshcha BKL station, she found a lot of inspiration in the underground construction site.
– On the one hand, I see the harmony of structures, a certain rhythm in objects and mechanisms, a certain charm of the industrial world. Reportage filming of the process, when you see our working guys who are trying and bringing design solutions that exist on paper to life with their hard-working hands. On the other hand, a demonstration of the power of human thought, embodied in the creation of stations and tunnels. That's why I'm interested in drawing underground highways. In addition, I like other subjects: seascapes, cozy city streets,” Rodyukova continues her story.
The emotions of the people in whose homes my paintings “live” are especially inspiring. One day, a customer received a stunning review of her work from her seven-year-old son: “Aunt Tanya, mom, when she wakes up, she often looks at your painting and says that it gives you a great mood for the whole day.” When you put a piece of your soul into your work and see a response, it’s happiness.
