When you enter the tunnel, you get pleasure

Бибиков

Deputy chief engineer of Tunnel-2001 Evgeny Bibikov at the 34th “Press Ball” among three metro builders - heroes of publications in various media - for valiant work on the construction of facilities Moscow Metro was awarded a diploma from the Union of Journalists Moscow. The Metrostroevets correspondent met with Evgeniy and learned about his career path.

Evgeniy Bibikov’s father worked as a site mechanic all his life. It was he who inspired young Zhenya to become interested in the construction industry and enter the Siberian State University of Transport.

Evgeniy graduated from the Faculty of Bridges and Tunnels in 2001. From there he went to work at the BAM for the construction of the Severomuysky tunnel, where for a year and a half he was first a mining foreman, then a deputy site manager.

Having gained invaluable experience and having completed the bulk of the work at BAM, Bibikov went to Moscow, where he immediately ended up in SMU-5 of Metrostroy. Its first station was Vorobyovy Gory.

–I like everything about my work: communicating with people, working with equipment, – says Evgeniy Vladimirovich. –It’s nice to see how the tunnel is progressing and growing. I enjoy my work.

Relatively recently, Evgeny Bibikov became deputy chief engineer at Tunnel-2001. Now his working day begins in the evening. It is necessary to resolve a lot of issues on which further work will depend, and in the morning there will be meeting after meeting. When I worked as a site manager, I was always on site with the team. In the new position, more time is spent traveling and communicating with customers and designers.

While working as the head of the tunneling section, the number reached 174 people. Everyone is a professional in their field. Many were trained in tunneling by the French from the Vinci company on a 14-meter hydraulic machine in Lefortovo and Serebryany Bor.

The six-meter Herrenknecht TBM is a unique phenomenon for Metrostroy. He made a record 13 runs and shows no signs of stopping. In addition, this is the only machine in Russia with a hydraulic load.

–For so many years you understand all the processes: how to start a car, how to drive, how to stop. If I wish, I can do the tunneling myself, – admits Bibikov.

At the end of last year, on December 29, the Kakhovskaya – Sevastopolskaya transfer opened. Evgeniy and his team were responsible for the entire construction part of the station and the reconstruction of the underground passage.

For more than 20 years at Metrostroy, Bibikov has worked on almost every line of the Moscow Metro and hopes that soon the Herrenknecht hydraulically loaded tunnel-boring complex will pass along a new line and draw another path on the underground map of the capital.

DIRECT SPEECH

Director of “Tunnel-2001” Ilya Gevorgizov:

– Our company was founded in 2001 and has always been at the forefront of the Moscow Metrostroy. The backbone of the company consisted of people from various metro construction SMUs - these are experienced engineers and tunnelers. The first object of “Tunnel-2001” is the Lefortovo transport tunnel, which was built jointly with the Transstroy Corporation.

Then, with the help of Mosmetrostroy and Mostotrest, they built a section of the Krasnopresnenskaya highway from the Moscow Ring Road to Marshal Zhukov Avenue, which included the Zhivopisny Bridge across the Moscow River, tunnels under the Serebryanoborsky forestry, intended for the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya metro line and the highway, as well as overpasses - ramps at the intersection of Marshal Zhukov Avenue with MKAD. During the construction of this facility, Tunnel-2001 acted as the parent organization of Mosmetrostroy. This is a landmark construction project for the Mosmetrostroy, Tunnel-2001 and Mostotrest organizations.

Since 2005, we have had the only tunnel-boring complex in Russia, the Herrenknecht S-290, with a hydraulic load. With its help, the Serebryanoborsky service tunnel, the left stretch tunnel between point “C” and the Strogino station, sections on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya, Zamoskvoretskaya, Sokolnicheskaya, Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya and Big Circle lines were passed. The total length of the tunnels constructed by this TBM is over 16 km. This is an absolute record for Moscow Metrostroy!

At some point, “Tunnel-2001” was excavating simultaneously with three TBMs: two with a soil load and one with a hydraulic load. Thus, on the Yugo-Zapadnaya – Salaryevo section, 6 tunnels were completed and track concrete was laid. One of the most difficult was the construction of the Lefortovo station. Just removing utilities from the construction site took two years! Between the Lefortovo and Elektrozavodskaya stations, a large pit was built to launch 4 tunneling shields in different directions.

A large block of work “Tunnel-2001” involves landscaping, removal and installation of utility networks. This work is headed by my deputy Ilya Popkov. On the BKL we carried out landscaping of the areas adjacent to the stations: “Lefortovo”, “Elektrozavodskaya”, “Aviamotornaya”, “Sokolniki”, “Rizhskaya”, on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line - “Okruzhnaya”, “Verkhnie Likhobory”, “Seligerskaya”. For the 90th anniversary of Mosmetrostroy, our specialists landscaped the Metrostroy health resort - a children's health camp in Balabanovo.

Today we are carrying out work on the reconstruction of the road network in the area of Dubninskaya Street and Lianozovsky Proezd as part of the Lianozovo transport hub; we plan to commission the facility by the end of the year. At the Lefortovo transport hub, reconstruction of the road network is underway with the reconstruction of tram tracks; landing areas for trams will appear here. In addition, we are engaged in the improvement of the Elektrozavodskaya transport hub (completion by the fall of this year) and are awaiting the start of the next stage of work on the creation of the Aviamotornaya transport hub. There are plans to construct a control room building, organize a tram storage and turning area, and improve and plant landscaping.

I believe that Mosmetrostroy is a unique construction organization. Due to the fact that the Group of Companies includes various subsidiaries of SMU and organizations, we mutually complement each other, and we can handle any task.
