Anton Shagin: metro builders are amazing people

Anton Shagin
laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation and the President of the Russian Federation, theater and film actor

As long as I’ve lived in Moscow, I’ve been riding the metro. This is not a pose. I only got my car last year. In recent years, the capital's subway has increasingly looked like a place intended primarily for people. This is encouraging and encouraging. The metro is being improved, new projects are appearing, and a lot is being done for the convenience of passengers. This is very important. Metro builders are amazing, selfless people. I have delight and respect for this profession. Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to the metro builders!

In the film "Dovlatov" Anton Shagin played a young poet-metro builder working on the construction of the Leningrad subway. In one scene, his character reads a poem that was actually written by the actor himself.
