Elina Bystritskaya: the metro is our common dream

Elina Bystritskaya People's Artist of the USSR, actress:

In 1958, film director Yuri Egorov, based on a script by Evgeniy Dolmatovsky, made the film “Volunteers”. This is a story about the fate of the generation that bore on its shoulders the construction of the first stage of the Moscow metro, the Great Patriotic War, and the restoration of the country. I played Lelya Teplova in the film, her image is close to me. He is in my imagination, this is my vision. I myself talked with metro builders, with those who led the construction of the metro, but, unfortunately, I can’t name anyone, I don’t remember their names. The metro is our common dream. Muscovites dreamed of having a subway in the capital. And I dreamed too. However, she moved around the city mainly by driving. I didn't use the metro often. For the New Year I wish the metro builders good health and good luck!
