Specialists from the Moscow Metro Construction have completed a major overhaul of the Bagrationovskaya station.
The renovation consisted of expanding the lobbies (previously, each of them had only two entry/exit doors and three turnstiles), dismantling walls and partitions, staircases, replacing stained glass structures with new ones, updating the station facades, interior decoration and other labor-intensive work. The vertical surfaces on the platforms were lined with white granite and marble. The track wall and the ceiling of the overpass were decorated with light-colored decorative panels made of fiber-reinforced concrete.
Materials from domestic manufacturers were used for finishing. In order to increase the energy efficiency of the facility, special glass was used to reduce heating of the premises in summer and prevent heat loss in winter.
